Bob Grahams January 7 - 8 2012

Sadly Rich was forced to give up during Leg 3 around Langdale due to knee problems, but Dave completed the whole round.

Here are a few pictures we took at Honister (Leg 4 to Leg 5 changeover)

"You'll never be a British Champion unless you do two legs of a Bob Graham Round" Mark Roberts with Mike Fanning. Mark was Leg 2 helper and enjoyed it so much offered to run Leg 5 with Dave too.

The dogs led the way. There were dogs on each leg of Dave's round - Dog Graham round?

You better not be tweeting this! (16:05)

Off they go - "can we sort the dogs out please, she's supposed to be our leg 5 pacer"

Pennine's Geoff Briggs Leg 4 helper with Mike Fanning ("on looker")

Dave Ward from Pennine Fellrunners arrived back at the Moot Hall in Keswick at 7:02pm, 23 hours and 2 minutes after setting off.

Phew!

A few snaps of tonight's Bob Grahamers

It's 7C, there's a little bit of dampness in the air, but the wind has dropped and the full moon is peeping through the clouds.

Moving their 'Bob Graham' start time to 8pm Saturday night from 8pm Friday night may be a good move for Dave and Rich.

Friday's attempt (by a member of Cockermouth Rescue Team) ended at Rosset Pike on Leg 3 hampered by strong winds.

Good luck Dave and Rich.
